All last years when the massive protests took place in Russia, they were always brutally smashed.
After every action day you can find lists of hundreds of arrested people. Even a single picket (one person with placard) usually do not last longer than a minute.
People got fines, days of arrests and even criminal cases against them for a simple peaceful protests.
Names of political repressed in Russia are uncountable, but they must not be forgotten.
